Tour the Park!

Did you know that there are plenty of sights to see outside of the museum? Palmerston’s magnificent park can be toured all year round at your own pace. Be sure to find Old Engine 81 at the front of the Lions Park entrance on Main Street. There are also numerous plaques to read along the walking trail throughout the park. Learn more about the Palmerston railyard, the roundhouse, and more! The pedestrian bridge is a must for visitors and locals alike, who can enjoy the spectacular view of Palmerston’s beautiful park, though the bridge is closed during the winter months.
